Organisers Carnoustie Community Development Trust (CCDT) are absolutely delighted with how much people are getting involved in the excitement and buzz of Carnoostival. It's going to be amazing - let's just hope for good weather on the day.
Derek Miller Chairman of CCDT said "this event is a great way to give back to the community so it's really encouraging to see so many families will benefit, 3,000 people have already registered online".
Online registration is now closed - the 3,000 online 'early bird' tickets gave organisers the chance to prioritise the majority of tickets to local people before opening the event up during The Open week to visitors. If you've registered for online tickets but change your mind please return to eventbrite to cancel your tickets so organisers can reallocate them to someone else.
CCDT will release the final batch of 1,000 tickets during the week of The Open itself. Please watch for annoucements nearer the time on the Carnoostival Facebook page or at the Carnoostival HQ 26 High Street Carnoustie for details of when these tickets will be available and how you will be able to get them. This last batch will be offered offline only to enable those that don't have access to computers to have an equal opportunity to attend the event.
Carnoostival is a community event - if you are registered disabled and would like to come to the event please contact the organisers directly.
